Rep. Steve Pearce’s campaign in New Mexico decided they wanted to attack their opponent on “restricting energy development.” Ok. So they were going to attack a Udall, as they are running against Tom Udall in New Mexico. Sounds fair, if perhaps wrongheaded.

The problem is, however, that they attacked the wrong Udall.
