An important sign that the sequestration cuts are likely to take place at the beginning of next month is that members of Congress appear to be spending far more time on trying to assign the blame than on trying to find a way to get rid of them. The Republican leadership wants everyone to believe that the sequestration cuts were President Obama’s idea.

I could have told her that, of course, but it is still interesting to hear someone in that position admit this:

Hillary Clinton coasted to victory in West Virginia, in what many have pointed out is her strongest region (Appalachia), winning approximately two-thirds of the vote. But the bigger news came out of a few other states. In Mississippi, the Democrat Travis Childers won a special election for an open House seat.
