The interns at Shulman for Congress wrote, produced, and starred in “Oilmen For Garrett,” a new 5-minute video mocking Republican Congressman Scott Garrett for his dependence on big oil dollars and his petro-friendly voting record.
The video is available at the Oilmen for Garrett website where visitors can also sign a petition to tell Garrett to stop taking money from big oil.

While all the attention was on the Democratic presidential race Tuesday, it turns out the GOP had a very bad day, to say the least.
In New Mexico, Steve Pearce, the much more conservative Congressman, edged out Heather Wilson, a more moderate Republican with a much better shot of winning the open Senate race.
