Hillary Clinton coasted to victory in West Virginia, in what many have pointed out is her strongest region (Appalachia), winning approximately two-thirds of the vote. But the bigger news came out of a few other states. In Mississippi, the Democrat Travis Childers won a special election for an open House seat.

Stepping away from the presidential race for a moment, there is special election for a House seat in Mississippi today.
