TransCanada Tarsands Blockade Call Reports

You can sign the petition demanding TransCanada CEO Russell Girling denounce the torture of the Keystone XL Blockaders. We’ll be working with the Tarsands Blockade folks to have them delivered to TransCanada representatives in Texas. Then call TransCanada’s corporate offices to demand immediate action.

Robert Gibbs, Valerie Jarrett Subpoenaed to Appear in Dan Choi Tar Sands Hearing This Wednesday

This Wednesday at 11am there will be a pre-trial hearing in DC Superior Court to determine whether Choi can offer a defense of selective prosecution by the government, and First Amendment protection for his right of free speech.

Former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had been avoiding subpoenas, but over the weekend he was served at his son’s baseball game. Last week the Department of Justice accepted service for Valerie Jarrett, Senior Adviser to the President.

Dan Choi Tarsands Trial Continues Today

Looking forward to hearing the government’s excuse as to why out of 1250 people arrested at the White House during the Keystone XL Pipeline Tar Sands action last August, Dan Choi was singled out for prosecution.
