It has been extraordinarily expensive to fly Kevin out and pay his expenses to attend each and every pre-trial hearing (one wonders why there were 15,000 journalists at the Democratic National Convention yet none of them can find their way to Fort Meade). But thanks to your generosity and support, Kevin has been a constant presence in the courtroom from the start, reminding the judge, the prosecutors and everyone involved that their actions are being watched and recorded for all the world to see.

Kevin Gosztola continues his tour of the north east occupations. Mark Haller sent this photo today of Kevin’s arrival at the Perry Park gazebo where Occupy Erie continues their occupation despite 8 police raids.
Kevin spent last night in a sleeping bag at Occupy Buffalo, where the temperature dropped to 15 degrees. Maybe that explains the Lawrence of Arabia vibe.

We really want to support UPS and unionized workers, but cold weather is setting in we need to get supplies out there as quickly as possible. This has now set us back a day, because we have to spend the day getting the boxes out through another shipper.
We just don’t have the staff to do this on a regular basis. So sadly we’re having to say goodbye to UPS, and hello to FedEx.
Support the OccupySupply Program. 100% of all funds received go to purchasing & distributing supplies to occupations around the country.

The media cheered the astro-turf Tea Party protests as genuine populist expressions of justifiable outrage, whereas Kevin Gosztola has been almost alone in giving fair coverage to the Wall Street protesters.
If you value the work he has been doing, please consider donating to help us not only continue to pay his salary, but to bring him to Washington DC to join the Occupy Wall Street and October2011.org protesters in Freedom Plaza on October 6.
