Ok that makes two (Mark Warner and Jim Webb) of the “big three” (Warner, Webb and Tim Kaine) in Virginia who have decided that the VP is a no go (or they found out it wasn’t going to be–and preemptively struck).

This is a quote from an Iraqi vet about both John Mccain and John Cornyn’s (R-TX) opposition to the updated and bipartisan GI Bill sponsored by Jim Webb (D-VA) and Chuck Hagel (R-NE). John McCain’s “alternative” would only provide “a fraction” of the benefits. His argument is essentially that it would hurt military retention, because it is too generous.Yes, you wouldn’t want to be too genererous to veterans now would you.
