According to AMCox at Swampland, we’re to be treated to the first lap of the 2012 GOP Presidential primary this month in Georgia, for the Martin-Chambliss runoff. The GOP is sending in its big winners: Palin and Mitt.

I predicted this would happpen with Georgia (and was ridiculed by some, I might add). But I am even surprised at North Carolina (which is much closer–with Obama within the margin of error down 43-40, as Barr takes 6%), as I was not aware the former Georgia Congressman’s name recognition extended into the Tarheel State.
