I’m pleased to announce the release of Firedoglake’s Health Care War Room. This war room will serve as a hub for policy information and organizing opportunities run by FDL.

The script was written by our own Blue Texan.  Progress Illinois has done a great job covering the work that Illinois state reps have done on health care.  

It was somewhat disconcerting when Donna Edwards would not confirm to the Hill this week Edwards, who signed the letter, that she would vote against any bill through conference that did not have a public plan.

This one won’t go down the memory hole.  Thanks to everyone who put an exclamation point at the end of that sentiment with their contribution.

Today’s updates came from the letter signed by 60 members of the House.

“Oh I will vote against anything that does not include … and it’s got to be real. I mean, you can call it anything you want … I believe there are enough of us, among the 120 in the tri-caucus and the progressive caucus, that can stop any votes…. Any health care reform that does not include a strong, robust public option for all Americans will not be health care reform.”
