Hey, Internet! Did you know that by reading news in an online medium you cede your rights as both a voting citizen and as a person? According to Colorado Senator Michael Bennet, that’s all true!
Bennet is feeling the pressure at home for bailing on his promise to “save the public option,” and now he’s lashing out. A local TV news outlet in Bennet’s hometown of Denver reported last night that Bennet says he “doesn’t confuse the blogosphere for real people and real voters.”

Rep. Steve Pearce’s campaign in New Mexico decided they wanted to attack their opponent on “restricting energy development.” Ok. So they were going to attack a Udall, as they are running against Tom Udall in New Mexico. Sounds fair, if perhaps wrongheaded.
The problem is, however, that they attacked the wrong Udall.

It would seem that after foaming at the mouth over Kentucky and West Virginia all last night, some political prognosticators might want to also take into account states Obama can win, which Dems have traditionally not won (last time was Bill Clinton, only in ’92, he lost it in ’96, before that, ’64 perhaps?).The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state shows Obama leading 48% to 42%.
