“Fiscal responsibility” is the last thing the Blue Dogs are interested in. Their prescription drug and Medicare positions alone add $148 billion to the cost of the bill without adding any value, and their insistence on “paygo” means those cost gets passed on directly to consumers in the form of higher premiums.

Who Is the 40th Blue Dog that Wants to Add $85 Billion to the Health Care Bill? |

The Blue Dogs don’t seem to be particularly proud of this letter. The signatures on the hard copy are illegible and we’ve only been able to decipher 39 of them. There are no names printed across the bottom of the signatures as there normally would be, and the text of the letter on the Blue Dog website doesn’t list the signatories.
If you can figure out the proud owner of the 40th signature and help them claim authorship of this piece of gibberish, let us know.

Mike Ross is full of shit. Twenty percent of his district lives in poverty, 21.8% have no insurance, and 25% are African American. Instead of telling progressives that they should suck it up and accept a bad health care bill because it’s “politically imperative,” Bill Clinton should be using his Arkansas clout to kick Ross’s ass.

Can Rahm Emanuel Validate Eric Cantor’s Prediction Of A 2010 GOP Landslide?
Travis Childers and Democrats in conservative districts cannot win re-election by voting for a costly bailout for European banksters. But Emanuel is dealing with him and other Democrats the same way he did when he pushed through the highly unpopular– and extremely destructive– NAFTA legislation for Bill Clinton. He’s wheelin’ and dealin’… and threatening. He’ll let the vicious but loaded AIPAC monsters lose on you to finance a primary; he’ll kill your (Childers’ in this case) post office request.
