TransCanada could’ve written the report themselves.
Not having access to the underlying materials that Geisel did, it’s impossible to know if his findings are valid or not. Perhaps they are. If so, it’s unfortunate that they were released under the shadow of his “assistant” status. Because if an Assistant IG was being leaned on by the administration to give State a clean bill of health while a permanent appointment was dangled as bait, there would not be one word of difference.

Nominations closed at midnight last night, and the preliminary round of voting will be open until this Wednesday, February 1 at 12 midnight.
