“What’s the CBO score?” is one way to judge between competing health reform efforts, but hardly the best way. How about asking the questions raised by Faithful Reform in Health Care: how many lives will be saved, and how many jobs preserved?

A coalition of religious groups is taking out radio ads in five states in favor health care reform over the Fourth of July recess: Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Nebraska, and North Carolina. That’s an interesting set of states: Four wavering democratic senators and Focus on the Family come to mind.
