No on 8: $50K from Fall Out Boy and a Lili Tomlin No on 8 Event

Pete Wentz and his band, Fall Out Boy have donated $50,000 to No on 8. In a statement the band said, ""We believe government shouldn’t legislate love. Vote no on proposition 8." 

The donation comes after  Ohio entrepreneur Jonathan Lewis issued a statement promising to match the next $500,000 raised by entertainers to fight Prop. 8

And Sunday, October 5 actress Lili Tomlin was the special guest at  a No 0n 8 Equality California event held at a private home. No word yet on how much was raised, but the minimum donation to set foot across the threshold was $100.
