Give gifts that reflect your values this holiday season at our brand new Occupy Supply online store.
We’re proud to make available a limited supply of the same Union and American-made cold weather gear that Occupy Supply has sent to occupations across the country. And for every item you buy, we will match that purchase by donating an identical item to an occupation in need.
You also have the option to donate your entire purchase from the Occupy Supply store. Just choose “Donate all items to the occupations” from the Ship Via drop-down menu at the very end of the check-out process.
Since the Firedoglake Membership program began the Occupy Supply program just over one month ago, thousands of activists ave responded with more than $140,000 in donations and an untold number of volunteer-hours to get essential cold weather supplies to occupations: 100% of the money raised by the Occupy Supply fund has gone towards purchasing and shipping over 9,000 items to occupations across the country to help them get through the winter.
Now you can give the gift of cozy polar fleece blankets, thinsulate insulated watch caps, hooded fleece pull-overs, Marino wool socks and base layer gloves – the very same high-quality union and American made goods that are being used by occupations all across the country. And in addition to helping an occupier in need, your gifts will support companies that pay their workers a fair wage for their labor.
Place your orders by December 13th for delivery in time for the holidays — and if you buy 3 or more items, you can get FREE SHIPPING by clicking the red “ENTER COUPON CODE” button in the shopping cart on the right side of the screen and entering the code: SOLIDARITY.
But we’ve only got a limited number of items available for sale, because we don’t want to impact the inventory that we continue to ship out to the occupations every day. So order now, because when they’re gone, they’re gone.

About FDL Action
By popular demand — we got so many requests for “buy 1, get 1″ (like Tom’s shoes) that everyone worked overtime to pull this together.
Sorry that we can’t offer things like base layer tops & bottoms and face masks right now, they are in huge demand right now and everything we can get our hands on is going to the occupations.
Thanks also to our suppliers. Initially we didn’t think we could do it because we needed everything we could get for the occupations, but several of our suppliers came through & said they could turn a limited number around for us in time to ship for the holidays on certain items. So we truly do mean when they’re gone, they’re gone.
I got yer happy occupiers right here.
Thanks Jane. This is a GREAT program. At Occupy Austin this weekend, greenwarrior, cbl, Casual Observer, and myself were admiring the quality of these items. Everything is really well made and effective at keeping you warm!
Please thank the unions for us for coming through so magnificently!
Nice picture, kris! We should get a flickr group or something going for folks to post their pictures from their work with the Occupy Supply fund…
That is JUST ADORABLE!
I’ve been taking pics and greenwarrior’s been doing the diaries for our deliveries. To make sure she has all the pics available I’ve been using photobucket.
A Flickr stream sounds like a great idea!
From Austin on Saturday – Group from Occupy Houston joining Occupy Austin to take begin occupying the State Capitol on Saturday night.
Do we have any firedogs in Houston? I spoke with these folks at some length and to their knowledge OH hasn’t been contacted by FDL for Occupy Supply related needs. I got contact info for a couple people at Occupy Houston. If we have a firedog in that area who would like to get involved please let me know.
That is so good to hear, Kris. Thanks to all of you.
Thanks also to Ryan and Brian. We all worked through the holidays to get this together. Ryan came back this morning to a zillion emails. Requests pouring in from everywhere.
We really appreciate everyone’s support and we’re delighted that we can use this money to buy even more OccupySupply goods to send out.
Bill Hunn is in Houston.
I really like this and it helps address very important needs. Thank you, Jane, and everybody seen and unseen who has worked so hard to put it together. You all rawk!
Just so the firedogs at large are aware of what a difference this is making…
It got down to 28 degrees here last night.
The young lady on the left in the picture I posted @2 was wearing everything she owned on Saturday.. A pair of shorts, a short sleeved shirt, and a light jacket. We were able to provide a hat, socks, a thermal layer and a heavy jacket for her.
Imagine the difference between sleeping on concrete in 28 degree weather while wearing shorts and a light coat vs. sleeping on concrete in 28 degree weather with all of the supplies that the generous donations here provided her.
This program is directly changing the lives of the people who are changing our future for the better. Jane, Ryan, Brian and Co. are offering all of us a chance to participate in direct action to sustain the most important movement of our time.
This is huge.
This program is one of lifes little pleasures. My friends at Occupy Erie contacted me yesterday with a wish list from Occupy Supply as well as plans to organize with Occupy Pittsburgh to have a joint Occupation between the two cities. It’s really going to be cool if they pull it off.
Tweeted and shared on Facebook!!!
Great job Jane and crew great job… The Occupier’s sure can use the warm clothing…
And KUDOS to all the Liaisons to all the locations across the Country !!
Unfortunately La and others are being evicted as we speak (:>(
Thanks Jane and all the backstage crew. Thanks to Kris and greenwarrior, and all the liasons for your efforts as well.
What a perfect idea. For those of us Occupying, some of us have all we can do to get to them and cloth ourselves. So this is perfect.
Cool. Solidarity!
