Not illegal really? home loans that were broken up into different parts and sold with no clear registration of who really owns the loans is illegal and also makes bonds based on those home loans worthless if you can’t prove who has clear title.
Selling bonds based on home loans when you don’t have clear title to the homes that have loans is Fraud Obama.

I would have expected him to say something like, ‘they haven’t been prosecuted because we haven’t found that they have done anything illegal.’ This leaves the door open to later finding they did something illegal. The fraud on the state level (taking a home without clear title,) is substantial and is not being addressed by the Courts, the State Attorneys, the Attorneys General (except a few who are maybe thinking they might sometime in the future bring a suit.) However, I always thought the powers that be cared about securities fraud and that is as plain as day as the records at the S.E.C. if they have not been shredded yet.
The mortgages were bundled into security instruments, except they were not (titles never conveyed to the trusts that were supposed to hold the mortgages and notes. ) Then someone advertised these securities for sale and someone else rated these securities AAA even though they were based on a house of cards (pun intended) made up of one lousy mortgage at a time. That’s securities fraud, plain and simple. You cannot sell a security that does not have the value that you advertise that it does. That is why some pension funds and other investors are suiing.
I don’t know if the President took securities law while at Harvard, it doesn’t seem so, but surely the legal eagles in the Justice Department can spot this scam from a mile away. So, are they just too blind to see or have they been told to stand down?

I made it. Actually taking a break at the downtown library. I think the weather has kept some people away. The attendance has varied from a few hundred to about 5 or 6 hundred (people going to lunch etc …). Went on the march to B of A and Wells Fargo. Lots of police watching from motorcycles, bikes, horses, cars – not worried about any of them with attitudes, bc, they know ACLU (like me) and NLG is advising and watching
