I reiterate my thoughts about VanHollen. As head of the DCCC, he ought to be hearing stories like yours. I fear he is too beholden to the “establishment” of the party [read Rahm + Obama], but assuming your letter can get through to him, it should make a point.

Dems ought to realize how many people like you are out there, have always been “good Democrats,” have relied on the Dems to do the right thing by them, and are disappointed by the Dems waffling and caving to the special interests.

We “ordinary people” have long memories, and if the Dems are going to back this crazy “mandate thievery,” folks are going to be reminded every time they open their paycheck and see the increasing deduction for “health insurance” [sic]. Or when they get the notice from the IRS telling them they have to pay a penalty for not signing up for health care piracy.

You can only do what you can do, but kudos to you for whatever you’re doing.

It’s a bitter pill that, after running an inspired and inspiring national campaign, Obama cannot bring himself to make the compelling moral argument for the public option.

The health insurance industry itself admitted that they will fail to bring down premiums if the Baucus bill is enacted.

Then what is the point of the Baucus bill except to screw us?
