Who would pay the financial price of letting red states opt out of a money saving public option?

For the “Who Cares?” department:
“Though looking forward to millions of new customers who would be compelled by the U.S. government to buy health insurance, the insurance industry is threatening to raise premiums across the board if more of its demands are not met.”
Of course, certain congresscritters surely do care, given all the millions that have been stuffed into their wallets. Wish they cared as much about us as they do dirty dollars.
Let us hope this proves to be very interesting:
Henry Waxman’s Energy and Commerce Committee’s Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will be calling on health insurance company executives to appear in regards to their business practices.
