The public option has been three cards on a table. Baucus, Carper, and the rest of the dogs keep moving them around, Rahm Emanuel is looking out for the cops, the private insurance and pharmacuetical industries are shills pretending to lose a few paltry billion when they stand to gain trillions and have customers locked in with the power of the government with no hard price or quality controls. And to top it all off using tax credits and vowing it will be “paid for” means cuts in public services practically guaranteed to feed that corporate bottom line. Single payer. Medicare for all.
