Furthermore the government plan would only take effect state-by-state. If 4% of Missourians don’t meet the criteria, they have to deal with the current system…likely by paying the fine and going without coverage. Except if mandatory means MANDATORY…in which they’d be compelled to obtain a plan…probably a “junk” one that offered almost no real benefits, high deductables, and co-pays – and pray that no one gets sick or injured.

We’re organizing Big Insurance: Sick Of It rallies in front of health insurance company offices across the country.

Insurance companies make hundreds of billions of dollars every year from denying coverage and denying care, no matter how many people suffer as a result. We’ll hear stories of people who have suffered from our broken health insurance system, and we’ll demand that the companies stop trying to kill the public health insurance option.
