I just checked, and it is Anthony Weiner, and he is one of the 65 that have pledged to vote no without a “robust” public option. How does pledging to vote no without a public option square with “If he doesn’t then we’ll have to settle for less?”

Oh boy, Rep. (Anthony??? I think) Weiner might have just shown the progressive’s backbone (or lack thereof) on the RM show.

He said.

If he stands up on Wednesday and says to the country and to my colleagues in Congress ‘We are going to have a public option in this plan because we need it and here’s why.’ It’s gonna get done. If he doesn’t then we’ll have to settle for less and that’ll be a tragedy.

Note the last sentence. I don’t think many have been more forceful on single payer and the public option than Weiner. This a sign of the end of the fight?

He’s a serious ADHD case, i think he might have tourettes syndrome and he’s all over the place, but once in awhile he will play dumb and lead a GOP nut right under an ACME falling bank-safe and thats always enjoyable. I guess thats why they call him tweety.

O/T, but I just finished watching KO tonight (had it “paused” cause I missed the beginning.

My GOD, I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. That man just showed how fucking way out nuts Glenn Beck really is. And it was K-E-W-L.

Well, it was kewl the way KO showed it. Glenn Beck being totally, out and out far far out of his fucking mind is not kewl. Not kewl at all.

If you think the Faux News comments are bad you need to see the GOP.com blog. They haven’t post any new blog post since the middle of May, but there are like 5 people bantering back and forth in the comments of that May 15th blog post. Sickening!!!
