Jane we are right behind you. Thanks for all of your work.

folks in these parts not willing to work again for Zack Space if he does not take a stand on the public option. We are meeting with Rep Charlie Wilson in a week

Have you seen this one
http://crooksandliars.com/susi.....s-are-winn

Because acting individually is ineffective our effort should focus on collective action. It should also be directed at first instance to our representatives and senators who are at our immediate grasp.

Meetings should be convened at the local level and coordinated among the area for maximum effect. I suggest a sharing of emails among residents within localities to establish dates for meetings for the purpose of forcing our elected official to abide by our goals of initiating sweeping changes in the way health care is delivered.

An enunciation of the changes to be advocated need to be established and would include at a minimum the PO. Action is crucial and we should deliver a unified mass demand to our elected officials to support our shared goals should begin at once.

It would be a monumental mistake to allow the present health initiative now before the congress to be fractioned or wasted. Nor should we allow ourselves to be subject to the wishes of backward hicks to mandate how we should structure crucial aspects of our lives.

Perhaps I’m not as well-informed as I should be, but the U.S. taxpayers own all [or nearly all] of AIG and its assets. AIG is the world’s largest insurance underwriter, or so I’m told.

Is there any reason then, why AIG cannot be used as a means for underwriting the expenses of the Health Care Reform program? If not, then why not get really ambitious and put these assets to work financing at least a part of the ailing Social Security and Medicare programs as well?
