The House Energy and Commerce Committee is having its mark-up of the Tri-Committee health care bill at 10 a.m. today. This could be the last mark-up for the committee on health care reform–that is, if one of the Blue Dogs doesn’t flip and decide to vote against the final passage of the bill out of the committee. That would delay the bill even further, wouldn’t it? And that would be very nice for the Republicans in the House to have right before they go off on their vacations.
To see if this happens, please stay tuned for the C-Span feed to go live with the webcast of the committee, and I think it’ll be carried on TV as well on one of the C-Span channels. Please feel feel to use this thread as a liveblogging diary of the committee proceedings. We NEED you guys to be our eyes and ears today during the mark-up.
