Of course, the best thing at the state level would be to allow states to experiment with single payer, since, as everybody agrees, Medicare for All is the best solution on the table. Maybe FDL could add allowing states to choose single payer onto the items it whips for? A la the Kucinich amendment?

I would like to know what do we do about those bluedogs in both house whom are bent on keeping the status quo. At the same time this is about healthcare, energy,education,regulations the economy period. In other words what will it take to rid ourselves of these traitors in the short and long term if we are to move a progressive agenda which we want. I think we need some short term and long term planning for there removal from office. A suggestion let adopt our own Obama plan for removal of these individuals from office. Some thoughts on this matter.

I’m pretty sure johne knows that was not the time nor place to have that argument. He’s on board, I’m on board, and Sirota and Mario are just beating the crap out of Colorado’s elected official who can’t seem to get a grip on the situation we’re in and what the American people want.

About a month ago, Jane linked to a SquareState.net (the biggest local Colorado progressive blog) post written by Zappatero, and later a different front pager (johne) then wrote a post telling Firedoglake to but out of rural Colorado because Mike Stark made John Salazar look like the buffoon he is. http://squarestate.net/diary/8.....stay-in-dc

Is there a better Colorado blog, because I’m not sure squarestate will be very helpful if johne is defending Salazar? Maybe johne’s post is an aberration and he’s really on the right side of this debate?

Maybe talk to David Sirota (filling in for Jay Marvin) and Mario Solis-Marich, who host local drive time shows on AM-760 too to have them help out as well. am760.net
