14 in 36 days … 26 more to go. That pace almost gets us to October. Yeah, this isn’t a waste of time or anything. Calling mostly LIBERAL HOUSE DEMOCRATS who will vote for the bill anyway. I really can’t believe this. Wouldn’t recruiting every single person we can in Blue Dog districts and states to inundate those assholes with calls be more productive? And if nothing passes because it’s not ‘good enough’ … tell me again how this helps anyone? Will it get done in an election year?

Check w/ Rep. Marcia Fudge’s (OH-11) office. I just called them a little while ago and her staffer said she’d signed on to the pledge within the past hour, unless I misunderstand.

Joe seems to think that today’s snapshot polls mean that ‘jobs’ are somehow ‘more important’ than health care. Joe somehow thinks that ‘the economy’ is not related to health care. He does not appear to understand the linkages between the ability of small businesses to create employment, and totally out-of-control health care costs.

Governments are being hit by rising health care costs, but small businesses are hampered by health care costs, as well. Every dollar spent to help subsidize the millions being given to health care execs is a dollar that small biz people CANNOT use to hire new employees.

It’s not complicated.
I have no idea why Joe Scarborough can’t seem to figure it out.

That was likely my comment you read on Kos. I haven’t seen any press releases, Tweets, or anything else confirming. Just what I got from the staffer, which I assume was correct.
