Mike Stark caught up with Democrat GK Butterfield (NC-01) on the Hill. Rep. Butterfield told Mike "there’s no question I support a public option," and went on to give Mike a great statement of support for the public option:

I would not like to see any federal bill passed by this House, or the Senate, that does not include some public plan that will be available nation-wide, without limitations, for all individuals and all employers. And that is from the very first day.

Sounds promising right? Well, then Mike asked Representative Butterfield if he would vote against any plan that didn’t include all those things. His Response?

I won’t make that commitment
