Doesn’t Oregon already have a single payer health insurance system? I think they’ve had one for 10 to 15 years but haven’t heard it mentioned. I’m assuming the numbers fabulously support single payer over the mess we have now.

Anybody know something about this?

To 10 and 15, we are trying to get the word out. I’m pumping every dime I can to every liberal blog that is telling the truth. I am totally covered for medical care but right is right and this shit is wrong.

Give til it hurts, this crap has been going on since Teddy Roosevelt was president.

Does anyone have any clue as to how to trackdown a list of stockholders for the major insurance companies. I saw on another blog a breakdown of how much insurance stock a specific congress person held, but failed to think, “Where did this info come from, this is important?”

DeFazio is one of the good guys. As I understand it (via Thom Hartmann), the main reason for his not taking the pledge up to this point has been his objection to the inequality of Medicare reimbursement rates.
