While perusing Blue Dog health care hater John Barrow’s website, I noticed that he says he wants your feedback on health care.
Give it to him — ask him why he opposes HR 3200, which won’t add a dime to the deficit, will cover 97% of the uninsured, and which will provide a $6 billion surplus!
Here’s the skinny:
"The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released estimates this evening confirming for the first time that H.R. 3200, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act, is deficit neutral over the 10-year budget window – and even produces a $6 billion surplus…The estimates also cover important reinvestments in Medicare and Medicaid, including phasing in the closing of the "donut" hole in the Medicare drug benefit. The bill’s long-term reform of Medicare’s physician fee schedule to eliminate the potential 21 percent cut in fees, and put payments on a sustainable basis for the future, will cost about $245 billion. Those costs, however, are not included in the net calculations above, as they will be absorbed under the upcoming statutory ‘pay go’ legislation that is pending in the House."
Ask Congressman Barrow how he can in good conscience oppose this. And then ask him again, this time via a letter to his hometown newspapers, so everyone can see where he stands.

Thanks, PW
OT(sorry) Howard Feinman on Countdown (w/Schuster), asserting that Blue Dogs are all in “red districts”.
That’s just not my impression.

Exactly.
Tip: Zip in Johnson Co. Ga 31096
Barrow’s survey can be done over and over – just clear the browser cache each time. I googled the zip codes for the county seat in the counties his district covers to make the surveys legit.
It seems that Representative Barrow’s district has a few more leftists in it than he previously thought.
I guess it’s a bit unethical, but I want all Americans, even those in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District, to have health care.
Key members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are to report to the White House Tuesday afternoon.
Just thought these last two comments EPU’d from yesterday might give some inspiration as we all Facebook these key members.
I’ll never believe that $6 billion surplus story. In the end this will all cost about double the original estimates. It always does.
Wrong again, GOP Torgo:
