Any idea where Ed Markey is on this?

Zack Space will not say how he’s voting. He never does in all the years I’ve called, for that matter.
I called my local office and the DC office. “No one knows the details of the final bill yet,” I was told.
I was told he wanted to vote for something that would be good for patients but would also be good for some of our largest employers, the hospitals. Doesn’t want them to go under.

Joe Sestak wants a strong public option. Talked with his health L. A. He’s been making good votes so far in committee on the various amendments. But I can’t get a pledge out of his office. He wants what we want but is he ready to go to the mat for it? “It depends” on what comes out of conference.

He’s likely to run against Snarlin’ Arlen in a primary. I should think he’d be with us all the way. He says he’s been hearing about health care everywhere he goes in the state. So?
