There is already a deep reduction in services in Medicaid. There are so many drugs that one can’t get, can’t get alternative/preventative treatments, no real dental (unless you want that tooth pulled) and shady Docs doing nothing but collecting the money. Yes, I speak from experience.

I’d like to learn more about this hospital deal VP Biden is trumpeting.

If the hospitals are going to accept medicare/medicaid reductions in payments, won’t this mean a cut in SERVICES to those who use medicare/medicaid?

That’s the LAST thing on earth any boomer wants to see, hear, learn!

So, I’m REAL curious as to what this new deal is all about, and what it REALLY means . .

And a big thanks to Mz. Hamsher for leading this drive on public option. I don’t think I’ve EVER seen such a fast and large turnaround on WH/Admin/Congress rhetoric other than when corp lobbyists make a call and forward boatloads of money to same!!

Jane I am sure you are aware that OBAMA is some kind of trouble and the REP are trying to get some traction on the issues of the economy,energy and heathcare. However we must become even more determined and relentless on the DEMS and not let upon them up period. It seems as though the ADMIN does not have the fight or want to fight for there own programs. However, all of us in the progressive community need to let all them know that we are not have willing to settle for nothing as suppose to going for something that is meaningful and worthwhile. In any case Obama has to get in the fight like it or not. WE Must continue to fight,but also this a struggle between us and them. By the way we must stay united in our effort whatever it takes.

Let’s not put the cart before the horse.Until we get significant health care reform please keep calling your Senators & congress peoples.Harry Reid letting it leak out that Baucus ought to ditch Repukes is a ploy to get “yous” to ease off the peddle.Think it’s strange the WH is announcing that”Hospitals promise to save you 150 bl in 10yrs” ? It’s all a crock of BS.You think the hospitals can’t change their minds after you letup on congress & once again gets screwed by watered down Health reform ?Please don’t stop calling & bitchiin,it’s the only way.

Couldn’t we use a pic of ‘Cool Whip’ rather than ‘Miracle Whip’?
