Joe Courtney appeared on WNPR Conn Public Radio and was asked about whether he would "pledge to vote against any bill that does not have a public plan that is available nationwide, from day one, answerable to Congress and the voters."
His answer? He refused to answer the question. If he really supports the public option as strongly as he claims….he should take the pledge.

Is this really how you want to say goodbye, huh Joe?
Is there a next action to take on this specifically now that weasel words have been uttered and the power of the promise has not been met? What are the phone numbers for the office, what are the url’s for local papers etc. etc. Pressure must be placed on this specific person, who is close, but doesn’t get the point.
