I still oppose single-payer as I don’t think it’s the role of the federal gov’t to put people out of business if they’re not breaking the law.

Taking money for services you don’t intend to provide is probably illegal. Taking money under false pretenses is definitely illegal.
Cancelling coverage for things the covered didn’t know about certainly should be illegal. Claiming pregnancy is a pre-existing condition should be illegal, too. Cancelling coverage, or denying coverage, for treatment
