Anyone in the district for DeFazio, please call him continuously. He is looking to run for governor in our state and the bastard voted for the war last week. He has lost any credibility as a “progressive” I am sorry I voted for the man when I was in his district.

So, who then would you have voted for in lieu of DeFazio, or are you talking primary?

I called my senators (Wyden, Merkley) Tuesday and insisted on the public option, sent them postcards yesterday too. I sent a post card to my rep., David Wu as well.

I also said (politely) to the staffer who answered the phone at Wyden’s office that I just can’t support the senator’s “Healthy Americans Act” because it does not include a public option.

He has already lost the governor’s race, because John Kitzhaber appears to want his job back and will beat any other candidate by a wide margin.

I spoke with Jared Polis’ office yesterday and was told that he is not for the public option, but for single payer. Didn’t sound to me like he was “leaning for”.
