I would certainly support any move to get this scumbag out of government once and for all.

I’ve been wondering this too. Paul Hodes [NH] is not “my” congressman, but I’ve supported him through two elections with my $$$$$.

His web site makes it impossible to send an e-mail to him unless you’ve got a zip code that’s within his district [or unless you can figure out ways to slip through]. ;-}

He’s someone who’s come to the Lake for support, and he should be responsive on this, but I’m not seeing it.

A good day for our side. Obama waits until the project is in progress to see what’s going down and THEN he steps in. That’s his tactical pattern. He wants health care so bad he can taste it, I think. He will get health care at the expense of just about everything else. And pick up the pieces later. In the meantime the ’left behinds’ are trashing their timeout corners and his political handlers are giving him the heebejeebees. It’s a mess: it’s politics.

We have to make him do the right things.

I dunno how he’s going to keep those “go easy” deals, but he’d better keep any promises he made to those dems who support him. Word get’s around the Hill that he don’t pay his debts and congresscritters will start demanding his part of the deal FIRST.

IMO, if they can’t pass the IMF with the supplemental, the house leadership will move to strike the amendment. Then pass a clean bill for the war and try to attach IMF/Holy Joe to something else.
