Donna Edwards’ office says she’s now undecided, and she’s not getting any calls.
Maybe that’s because she told her fellow members of the House that she was going to vote against the bill, her name was on a document distributed among members as voting no, and we had her listed as a no.
DC: (202) 225-8699, Silver Springs: (301) 562-7960, (301) 516-7601
P.S. "The President asked me to" is not a great excuse.

About FDL Action
WTF? Donna Edwards? What moved her to undecided?
Well, let’s call and find out….
Please post her Office’s comments here … lots of FDLers will be interested in what she has to say.
Hmm…DC line busy. Maybe she’s getting a few calls.
Boxturtle (Will try again in 5)
Yes. I wonder how much Rahm is leaning on her. Remember, last week there were rumblings that some right-wing(defense-wise) Jewish groups were bitching that she wasn’t supportive enough of Israel. And J Street came to her rescue and raised some money for her. I am sure those groups have Rahm’s ear. It’s only a guess on my part. It could be that, or something else.
okay, I phoned the DC number and talked to a very nice staff person. I said right off I wasn’t in Donna’s district, but had supported her via Blue America both times around, and even made a YouTube showing highlights of one of her debates with Al Wynn that had been helpful. I pointed staff person to link at FDL- she (staffer) seemed completely familiar with BA and FDL.
Seemed to be news to her that Donna was now undecided via the FDL piece (she did note we actually can’t be sure how she will vote until she votes, which was a fair caveat). Anyway, staffer said she was contacting (oops sorry, forgot exactly who- legislative team?… can’t remember,) but it sounded like she was going to get right on it. I said I was puzzled as to why Donna might be now undecided, and that if she changed her vote from NO, then a lot of people like me, long time supporters would be very disappointed.
The person I talked to was extremely gracious and was genuinely interested in my comments.
oh for goodness sakes, with Rahm the Candy Man pork-dialing, Al Wynn would have gone “undecided” at this point, just to see what was in for him
oh yeah, I’m a little disgusted
I just called Donna’s office and told them I read where she wasn’t getting any calls. I sent her cash in her fight against Al Wynn.
