I just spoke to Trevor Kincaid, Jan Schakowsky’s communications director and he told me that Schakowsky will not release a statement on her position on the supplemental “until after the vote.” I asked him if she was concerned about going back on her 2007 pledge never to vote for war funding that did not call for troop withdrawal. He said, “She is currently reviewing the pros and cons of the bill.” He would provide no further comment.

So she’s still "reviewing" the bill (really?  how long does it take?) and won’t release a statement until after she votes.

Jan’s probably still crossing her fingers that Rahm scores enough Republican votes that he doesn’t need hers and will allow her off the reservation.   That would make saying what she believes in at the moment tough — "whatever I can get away with" might not go down too well with antiwar supporters who have contributed to her campaign for years.
