CTBlogger says:
Today, My Left Nutmeg is joining forces with Firedoglake, Robert Greenwald, and a host of bloggers across the country who are calling on member of Congress to oppose the latest war supplemental bill.
Back in 2007, Congressman Chris Murphy signed a pledge not to vote for any war funding that didn’t include troop withdrawal provisions.
This Tuesday, the House is scheduled to vote on H.R. 2346, the 2009 Supplemental Appropriations Act, which includes funding for the war in Afghanistan without any provisions for troop withdrawal.

If you supported Congressman Murphy’s campaign, please contact him and ask him to honor his 2007 pledge and oppose further funding of the war that doesn’t include a plan to remove US troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. After you contact Congressman Murphy’s office, use this tool and tell us about the response you received.
My Left Nutmeg has been in the vanguard of state blogs fighting to end the war and has the Lamont/Lieberman battle scars to show for it. They have been, and continue to be, inspirational.
