Maine Owl reports:
As of the morning of Friday June 12, the offices of both Maine Representatives are reporting our members will vote NO to the conference report of HR 2346. Don’t stop calling. A lot can happen with Rahm on the case. Please continue to register your views. And THANK YOU to all who have called so far.
And Gerald Weinand confirms:
A source tells me that while the final version of the compromise bill will not be reported out of the Conference Committee until most likely Tuesday, "unless something changes dramatically," Chellie Pingree will vote against H.R. 2346. Again.
And THANK YOU to Turn Maine Blue for staying on top of these reps. We hope Pingree and Michaud show up on Tuesday and cast these principled votes.
It’s the weekend, but anyone who feels like taking action can write letters to local papers.

Ah, would that the old saying As Maine goes, so goes the nation were still valid.
Thanks Jane for all your work. This is riveting.
I emailed the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s two national reporters, Diana Marrero and Craig Gilbert. So far they’ve ignored this. I tried to sell the idea as a broad straddle to their readers. I emphasized that conservative and liberal blogs are against HR 2346.
Too confusing for TradMed; also their White House and Congressional leadership sources probably are discouraging coverage of this issue.
Why vote against the war supplemental? Listen to Roger Morris run down the Village power structure maniplulation.
Didn’t Paul Hodes spend some time here? [Howie?]
I know I gave him some $$$. What the hell is he doing in the “undecided” column?
Update (Mon. June 15, Noon): I’ve just been on the phone again to Mike’s D.C. office. The quote is “as of right now, he’ll vote no.” So he still seems to be holding firm. But keep the calls coming!! Anything can still happen.
