While we wait for the Minnesota Supreme Court to issue a ruling on Norm Coleman’s appeal of the election contest that he lost, here’s a little bit of news for you all.

Remember how the three-judge Election Contest Court ruled that because of the egregious frickin’ misconduct committed by his legal team, that Norm was going to be on the hook for at least some of the court costs incurred by his opponent, Al Franken?   Well, the bill was finally totaled up yesterday, and the ECC ruled that Coleman must pay Senator-Elect Franken $94,783.15.   Actually, it’s going to wind up being a bit more than that, as the court also ruled that the judgment amount will continue to accrue interest until it’s paid in full.

Nasser Kazeminy’s going to have to pony up some more dough for his bobo.  Assuming Norm’s still his bobo, now that Norm’s no longer a sitting United States Senator.
