Another one bites the dust:
Rep. James McGovern, a Massachusetts Democrat, says he supports more IMF funding but will vote against the bill anyway because he opposes funding for the Afghan war.
"I understand the politics" of attaching the IMF provision to the war-funding bill, he said. "But there’s something to be said for the principle."
Rahm hasn’t produced one Democratic member of Congress who publicly supports the bill — at least none that I can find.
Why is that, Rahm?
Maybe because of Citizen Whips who keep calling their representatives.

woo hoo !
forgive me Jane, but I have this image of Rahm a la Stewie Griffin staring at these pages – damn you vile woman ! Blast !
of course we have yet to be treated to the obligatory: “the red staters hate me and the dfh’s are unhappy – must be doin’ somethin’ right” followed by awkward chuckles and crickets all around
Got more on the way…Lieberman-Graham removal doesn’t seem to have adequately addressed anyone’s objections.
I will be sure to thank him for this stand when I see him Saturday.
BECAUSE most of the dems can’t stand old Rahm and his bullying, potty mouth self. I’m so glad folks are not continued to be bullied by him. If Obama wants a win on this, he’s going to have to tone down Rahm and do it himself or get someone else that folks don’t hate insted of leaving it to his minions.
And I doubt if Obama wants to play good cop bad cop at this point. That’s a good thing beause this needs to go down in flames big time. Appears that it is.
