Cruised by the UpTake’s liveblog and spotted this Tweet from Rachel Stassen-Berger:
Rt/ @Rasmussenpoll 54% Say Coleman shld concede;63% say Franken will win,16% expect Coleman win http://tinyurl.com/RR0203 #mncontest
Wow. That’s the second time this week I suspect that longtime Republican pollster Scott Rasmussen didn’t get the result he wanted. Over the weekend, he’d tried to rig a poll hard against Nancy Pelosi on the whole issue of the CIA’s and GOP’s ridiculous efforts to smear her as Just As Bad If Not Worse Than Bush/Cheney with regard to torture, and it didn’t work.
It’s nice to see Republican propaganda stunts fail.

About FDL Action
Smile and the whole world smiles with you.
Frown, and you frown alone.
Tim’s not smilin’.
I’m surprised rasmussen posts the results of polls results they rue
I remember sitting in a car while my parents drove us to vacation, every few minutes, “are we there yet?”
pw, is it june yet?
Well, are we there yet?
Just had a MN Senate-related event, Dean Barkley (Independence Party candidate) was sitting at the table next to mine at lunch. There were about ten guys at his table, maybe it was the entire IP. He did have unkind things to say about how the state GOP failed on our budget but he also claimed Obama declared the recession over. Not sure if he was joking about that or not.
It’s part of their periodic polling package, perris. Suppressing it would be worse than putting it out there…
Heh. I’ll bet I can outdo you. When I was a kid in Buffalo, my dad’s relatives lived outside of Worcester, MA. Before the NYS Tway was built, it took about 8 hours to drive there on our annual trip. The only thing that made it worthwhile was that rts 5 or 20 that traverse NYS invariably went downhill into towns, with a curve around the biggest tree at the bottom of the hill. Thus tractor-trailer debacles. My favorite was the one filled with fresh eggs. You can’t imagine (or maybe you can) a crash with a tractor-trailer truck full of raw eggs.
Maybe this is just more torture by the Republicans. Should it be illegal too? Somebody please check the Geneva Convention for the legality of this torture.
Coleman has lost. This is just another delaying ploy to keep the Democrats from their victory.
Rs: Torture R us.
We had one of those raw egg overturns in the Bay Area. The funniest though was the truckload of frozen chickens on the Nimitz freeway. Traffic came to a complete halt because people were stopping and grabbing arm loads of chickens. It took several hours to get the mess sorted.
Which came first, the chickens or the eggs?
Still no match for the L.A. Coroner, who has had a client roll out the back of their vehicle while on the expressway (more than once if I’m not mistaken).
Heh. Nothing you can do with broken raw eggs except marvel at the mess. But if it had been frozen chickens, I’d bet my parents, Misers R Us, would be at the front of the line.
Speaking of LA coroners, did you ever read his book? It’s worthwhile.
Never read the book but have probably read summaries or all the parts concerning famous folks. Would have been an interesting (and busy) job.
OT: Probably pointless to read much into this. From the NYT:
You betcha.
Would be a helluva lot nicer to see media not treat their plots as though they succeeded….
Props, PW! Thanks for all the Franken updates.
A Dollar a Day to Make Norm Coleman Go Away
If thousands of us donate $1 to defeat Republicans each day Norm Coleman doesn’t concede, we’ll reverse the incentives for his DC Republican funders! Can you donate $1 a day to help progressives run, and win?
Over $101,000 has been raised so far — how high can we go?

Now would be a interesting moment in time to ask a conservative like Norm Coleman how he stands on tort reform?
Why he would deny citizens of this country the ability to sue for damages those that would perpetrate the law for profit.
Not just a GOPer that begs the court’s conservative activist judges to rule for him over the election.
Norm saw how it worked for Bush Jr. and maybe someone could ask Norm how he feels about those that believe in entitlements.
Since the Constitution says senators are elected ”for six years”, at what point do Franken’s lawyers start arguing that (after this is finally settled in his favor) Franken’s term should be extended for a commensurate period after January 2015?
