I mean, this is crazy. Joshua from The Joshua Blog finds this from MoDo’s column today:
More and more the timeline is raising the question of why, if the torture was to prevent terrorist attacks, it seemed to happen mainly during the period when the Bush crowd was looking for what was essentially political information to justify the invasion of Iraq.
Josh Marshall on May 14:

She should’ve just added it straight without inserting "the Bush crowd," then if she got busted she’d be able to claim that none of the 8 editors who have to approve NYT articles before they go up happened to notice that it was supposed to be a quote.
Well, that ought to be enough to secure her a regular spot on Meet the Press.

MoDo’s response:
Wonder how many more of these “lifts” there are to be found in the stuff NYT publishes with her name on it?
Blogger ethics panel, stat!
Seriously, if MoDo plagiarized you, would you be flattered or depressed? I feel bad for Josh.
hahaha!
via twitter this morning:
answer: it wasn’t modo, it was josh marshall?
Oh, she admits it now:
Nice one, that had to hurt. LMAO.
Fiddlydidi! Talkin’ to a friend, my forkin’ foot! That exactitude of language isn’t accident/error/mistake…..it’s plagiarism, plain and simple.
hey Teddy !
just now saw your FB reply – thx. and I see your back in fine fettle :D
Gee, and how many personal assistants does MoDo have helping her write her damned column? Cripes, do they even frickin’ chew her food for her?
Press The Meet is a good place for MoDo. With Timmeh gone, the show is finding it’s place in obscurity.
