Thanks PW …. Try as Pawlenty might, he’s still outside of the Limbaugh Zone so he has little to lose by honoring his oath and abiding by the Minnesota Constitution when the MSC hands down their decision.

I’m still rooting for Palin/Bachmann 2012. Now there’s a dream ticket for democrats.

I saw the billboard yesterday on my way past the airport: “What Will Pawlenty Choose? People of Minnesota — or — His National Ambitions?”

Pawlenty did get the GOP Presidential convention in his state sure Karl was trying to push the state red but Karl would never have come unless he was sure about Pawlenty.
Pawlenty has National Ambitions, Karl likes him and somebody the anti tax buys/tea baggers? has reassured Pawlenty that he need not worry about being reelected.

I also want to say thanks for linking to my favorite local paper, The Timberjay, in a previous post. Marshall Helmberger does his homework & his paper is a great antidote to the 3 other nearest local papers which range from rightwing to nutjob rightwing. The editorials & letters to the ed in those papers drive me up a wall.
