While we’re waiting for Norm to file his appeal brief, which is due today (I keep checking www.MNCourts.gov but it’s not there yet — 5:05 PM CDT UPDATE: He’s filed it, but it’s not yet up on the Minnesota Courts website), I can’t help but think that the very fact that he’s waited so long to file what really should be a very simple restatement of the issues mentioned in the contest trial is itself more evidence that he’s under orders to drag this thing out.
The pressure Norm denies exists — especially the pressure from his fellow Republicans to drag this thing out – is immense and has only grown since Arlen Specter’s switch, a fact that has been noted by the local media as well as by the national media. If Specter’s switch wasn’t such a big deal, that pressure increase wouldn’t have happened. But of course it doesn’t matter, right?

About FDL Action
Well, Normie’s lawyers did say they wanted to be sure they got this right, after all.
Isn’t it curious that they apparently weren’t worried about getting it right at the ECC?
I’d like to thank norm coleman, michele bachman, lushbo limpballs, sean the mannity, glen beck, virginia foxx, booby jindal, newt gingrich, michael steele, and princess pandora
thank you ALL for making the New Democratic Majority possible
and thanks in advance for giving us a SUPER-MAJORITY in the US Senate in 2010
just keep on telling America how you feel
it’s working out GREAT for Liberal Americans
I’m still really interested in who’s money Norm is spending.
Boxturtle (It’s rude to gloat over anyones misfortune, so I’m not gloating. Really. You believe me, don’t you?)
Is there a Dem who can beat Smilin’ Tim in 2010? I’d sure like a Dem in the MN Statehouse when redistricting comes up.
