The Minnesota Supreme Court is allowing Team Coleman until April 30 to file their written brief in their appeal of the Election Contest Court’s decision in favor of Al Franken. Once that’s done, Franken’s team has until May 11 to file their response, and I suspect that they will do so a lot sooner than May 11; once that’s done, Coleman has until May 15 to make his reply brief. The court will then give itself two weeks to look over both sides’ arguments, then hear the oral arguments on June 1.
My only question right now is: Will Coleman’s people file their brief today, or wait until Thursday the 30th to do so? Your guess is as good as mine at this point.

About FDL Action
This is a no brainer. Colemans people will file in the last possible minute. He’s acting at the direction of the rePIGlecan party to hold up the dem majority. It’s part of the Hitlerian scorched earth leadership, if you can call that leadership.
Specter To Switch Parties
It does not seem that this is a process that can be sped up since the court has given a date certain for each step. As I read it whether Coleman does it today or waits to the end Franken will have until May 11 and Coleman will have until 5/15 and the supremes will hear on 6/1
Yupper.
