While we wait for the counting of the 387 ballots (it was originally 400, but thirteen turned out to be ballots that had already been counted) to start at 9:30 am CDT, here are a few tidbits to tide you over:

1) MPR has the full transcript for MSNBC’s interview with Tim Pawlenty mentioned here yesterday.  While he does reference the possibility of Norm (or Al) taking this to Federal court, he significantly doesn’t say that this would prevent the issuance and signing of an election certificate — and in fact he concurs with the Minnesota Supreme Court’s referring to the end of the contest as being when the case has been dealt with in the state courts: "The Minnesota Supreme Court said in a recent decision that a certificate shouldn’t issue or — isn’t likely that it should issue until the state court process has run its course. That would include the appellate process."

2) Per The UpTake, which could use a few dollars if you can spare them, we find out that a new Franken lawyer, Lisa Marshall Manheim, has entered the case.  Legal eagles, here’s her bio from Perkins Coie in Seattle.  What does this tell you about her?

3) Man bites dog, FOX lies like a rug about Franken-Coleman case.  Ho-hum.
