It is about doing whatever it takes to win. Over riding the vote of the people, having the courts over ride in your favor, finding some obscure law that says when a republican incumbent Senator loses, he gets to win anyways.

Remember Coleman next time you hear a republican speak of “VALUES”. Those values of working hard and playing by the rules and you will get ahead in America.
Colman and his reuplican party definately do not believe in that which they shovel.

You see, that stuff they spew is meant for the little people. Those insignificant voters that haven’t enough money to buy their vote like lobbyists do.

I am so proud of my Country. What a gracious speech after the recount before this trial began when Senator Elect Franken said that his family were thinking of the Coleman family. His speech was from the heart and it showed. It brings a feeling of peace to know now that soon Senator Paul Wellstone’s Senate seat will be held by his very dear and very capable friend Senator Al Franken. Wow, what a career Senator Franken! He never needed to look back to care for his fellow Americans yet I have followed his work as a fan (never met) since the beginning and I know that he has always cared about our Country. He is smart, (parent spoke publicly about perfect SAT scores) he understands his role more than most Senators. He understands citizens more than most. He will represent all of Minnesota and he will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America! I want to keep this positive so another time we should discuss the misuse of Mr. Franken’s funny story about Senator Wellstone running along side his son in the marathon and shouting “you can take him.” That is being used to this day on the official senate website of the other party in several places with captions stating that he is unbalanced or he wouldn’t act that way. I wish I knew the words that my grandma would say that would make them feel the shame that they should feel for such a dirty trick to do to the Wellstone Family, not to mention the Frankens. I’m just glad that even though it was so close that Minnesota will be represented by Mr. Frnaken.

How can we expect a Republican snake like Coleman to do anything but delay the inevitable? He and the Republicans are just trying to keep Franken’s vote out of the Senate as long as possible. When Franken does get sworn in, it will be great day for Minnesota and the country.

I agree with you about Alter (he has been ok for a while) and Fineman — maybe cutting back on Grecian Formula improved the brain cells. I’ve also noticed an improvement with Richard Wolfe.
