Yep! Here’s the Georgian Hand-Grenade Story about Bush. So talk about the Georgian’s attacking Obama might be true, since some did it to Bush. Probably not so smart to arrange trips to countries with such problematical security.

DId you read the translation of what the shoe thrower said yesterday? Did you even ask yourself why he did it? Obviously not. He spoke of the killed Iraqis and their surviving family… not himself in any way.

And from your own comment, which I disagree, you sound like the perfect candidate for moving to Iraq, not those of us who abhor torture and randomly shooting people on the streets (any streets), far more than we abhor a tossed pair of shoes at the world most egregious lying war criminal alive today.

This really ticks me off ! The U.S. is there to rid Iraq of terroristic people. And this shoe throwing idiot is one of them. Iraqi people are neandrathals ! The reason we “the U.S.” are there is because they cant behave ! I would love to carpet bomb the streets of Bagdad, just as soon as the protestors hit the streets supporting this idiot. I would also have loved to have been on the convoy of U.S. millitary vehicles getting shoes thrown at them. I would have thrown some 50cal back ! And to all of you Americans who support this idiot. Move to Bagdad ! You are a disgrace to our country !

Just Imagine: ‘What If’ a protester from Georgia (the OTHER one) threw a bag of spineless burrowers (Pheretima Posthuma) at our President Elect. You know, to ‘remind’ everyone what a spineless, vapid response BHO had to Russian tanks rolling into that free and independent nation.

What would be the reaction be from our open minded, progressive friends that herd here? I’ll bet it would go something like this:

If an Iraqi official came here and someone threw a shoe at them they would be a hero. The same thing with Iran. They would be a hero. But they are throwing shoes at the wrong people. The shoes should be thrown at Israeli officials. The US won’t let Israel fight it’s own battles.

Ambivalent props to W for his duck-and-bob-back-up — a jaunty, even mini-Reaganesque performance sure to win reaffirming high-fives in the fraternity house, though given the fact that a second projectile was perhaps predictably coming very soon — perhaps even a poisoned, razor-studded one, who knows? — his refusal to cower behind the podium bespeaks a certain, shall we say, bold cluelessness. Ahh, it’s OK, he can blame it on Poor Intelligence.
And for once, he will be Right.
