Look out Kennedy dynasty! Actress/ women’s health advocate Fran Drescher has thrown her hat into the  ring as a contender to replace Hillary Clinton as U.S. senator for New York. It’s up to the Democratic NY Governor David Paterson, to appoint someone for the position.

Drescher, who survived uterine cancer, earlier this year was appointed to a U.S. State Department envoy program and toured Eastern Europe to talk about health issues.  Last year, she created a charity called the Cancer Schmancer Movement after her recent battle with the disease. 

 She’s at least as qualified as Caroline Kennedy…
