Not making light of the tragedy but I always find myself wishing in the case of murder/suicides that the person had taken their own life first.

That business with White’s son visiting the set sounds awkward. Easy to forget that the perpetrator’s family suffer too.

A Synopsis of the events for those not yet born. Dan White was not the only Vietnam vet that returned with life long psychiatric problems, my neighborhood was filled with ex-vets and they all had problems that the VA refused to treat until they killed.

I just heard today on Air America that White’s son went to the Milk set. That must have been a helluva day!

It was because of that California abolished the “diminished capacity” law. You’re probably aware that in 1984, White allegedly admitted the murders were premeditated… as IF there should ever have been any doubt.

Dianne Feinstein has no political career if these murders don’t happen.

One morning not too long ago I was visiting her San Francisco district director to talk about immigration. When I left the office with my group those were my words. Milk and Moscone go on to great political, progressive careers, Feinstein never makes it past the SF Board of Supes.
